Gazprom says gas output rises 17.8% to 358 bcm in Jan–mid Sep
MOSCOW, Sep 15 (PRIME) -- The gas output of Russian gas giant Gazprom rose 17.8% on the year to 357.7 billion cubic meters from January through mid-September, the company said on Wednesday in a statement on its Telegram channel citing preliminary data.
Gas exports to non-CIS states grew 17.4% on the year to 138.6 billion cubic meters in the period. Exports to Turkey rose by 157.7%, to Germany by 35.8%, to Italy by 15%, to Romania by 347.6%, to Serbia by 125.9%, to Poland by 11.4%, to Bulgaria by 52.3%, to Greece by 12.8%, and to Finland by 19%.
Gas supplies to the Russian market increased 14.8%, or by 21.3 billion cubic meters, in the period, the company said.
Gazprom also said that underground gas storage facilities in Europe are full by 62%, which is 22.8 billion cubic meters less than as of the same date in 2020.
